Denmark's Greencard Scheme


In order to be granted a residence permit under the greencard scheme, you must attain a minimum of 100 points. Points are given for: educational level, language skills, work experience, adaptability, and age.
• Masters degree (should be 2 years master degree) or PhD
• Language skills (any valued English test score e.g. IELTS/GRE/TOEFL) or get English proficiency certificate from working institution
• Age proof(passport)
• Work experience letter that should show no. of years

Documents for submission
• Filled and signed application, Application form for Greencard Scheme
• Bank statement that supports yourself for a year stay in Denmark. i.e you should show bank balance around 15000$ /6.5 -7 lacks INR according to Danish rules.
• Photos(2)
• Declaration from the home university
• All education/work experience/ language skills originals and photocopies.

Visa process: After submitting your application, it will take minimum 3 months to get the visa, it’s depends on your case, some people get within a month.

Sweden Higher Education


For autumn semester 2011(around August/September 2011)
Higher education institutions in Sweden offer a large range of international Master's programmes where the language of instruction is English. Basic requirements for study in Sweden are:
  1. Bachelor’s degree (3 years/ 4years) or master degree from an internationally recognized university. Final year (Engineering/Masters) students also can apply
  2. English proficiency certificate(TOEFL  or IELTS)
  3. Supporting documents(certifications/experience letters, etc)
  4. Passport copy(first and last  pages)
Application process will be open from 1 December 2010 and deadline will be around middle of January 2011.
Admission announcements will start from last week of March 2011 until last week of April 2011.
